Perfect Paws by Heather was born from a love for animals and desire to bring compassionate, professional care directly into homes. As a Registered Veterinary Technician, the founder saw pets coming into clinics with preventable issues and families stressed or confused. During the pandemic, veterinary clinics were overwhelmed. The business bridges at-home care and veterinary clinics to reduce pet stress, support treatment plans, boost client compliance, and ensure continuity of care.

• Mobile Dog & Cat Nail Trims Professional nail trims using basic clippers or dremel (file). Dremel enables closer, smoother cut reducing post-trim scratching. Available for dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs.
• Anal Gland Expression For dogs exhibiting scooting, foul/fishy odor, or frequent licking. Uses specialized wipes and sprays. Trained professionals perform internal expression, more thorough than external-only methods.
• Ear cleaning/Flushing of the ear canal Recommended for pets with allergies or regular maintenance. Ear cleaner contains drying agent, antibacterial and antifungal properties. Does not treat ongoing infections.
• Sanitary Trims Removes hair around anus and private areas for pets not requiring full trim. Prevents fecal impaction and infections while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
• Paw Trims Removes excess hair between paw pads to improve traction on smooth/wooden floors, enhance mobility and balance, and prevent infections.
• Soft Paws Feline only. Silicone caps glued over claws using pet-safe adhesive. Replacement needed every 4-6 weeks. Humane alternative to declawing.
• Mat Removal with clippers For pets with occasional mats not requiring complete grooming. Uses clippers or scissors depending on severity and tightness of mats. No full shaves.
• Drop-in Visits/Pet Sitting Consults Pre-absence consultation to review paperwork, meet pets, and establish care routine. Requires dedicated time and is subject to consultation fee.
• Feline Comfort Care - Drop-In Pet Sitting Flexible cat sitting including litter box clean-up, feeding, up to 30 minutes playtime, and considerate care for shy/nervous cats. Mail retrieval and home security checks included.
• Canine Comfort Care - Drop-In Pet Sitting Personalized dog care including feeding, up to 30 min playtime, cuddle time, walks if requested. Mail retrieval and home security checks included.
• Exotic Haven Pet Sitting Care for small animal exotics including guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, ferrets, hedgehogs, chinchillas, sugar gliders, birds, reptiles. Feeding, cleaning, enrichment, medication administration.
• VetSitter Collaboration Services Collaborate with existing pet sitter. On-call option for pet sitter to reach out for assistance. Once-daily wellness check drop-in visit available (additional cost).
